All will need global solutions in times where international institutions and systems of collaboration are under threat. And the Asia-Pacific region, with its increasing political, economic and technological leadership will be at the forefront of both the challenges and potential solutions determining the World’s fate.
Based in Singapore, Wolfram is the Asia Pacific lead for Marsh & McLennan Advantage, Insights. In his role, he works with the business leaders of the Marsh & McLennan Companies in the region to adapt and bring our global content to local audiences; and to identify leading practices from the region of interest to our global audiences.
With over 20 years of experience in risk management advisory roles, Wolfram specializes in integrating risk into strategic decision-making, risk and capital measurement and management and organizational design.
Wolfram is a frequent public speaker and has authored and edited reports on a wide range of risk management issues including cyber risk management, emerging risks, risk appetite, ERM /risk management best practices, advanced analytics, societal aging and automation, stress testing, and scenario-based planning, to name a few. As part of his role he oversees the team of MMC Advantage, Insights researchers based in Singapore, who work across all our global content themes.
As part of his Asia Pacific leadership role, he also launched and runs BRINK Asia, the digital news platform providing regional perspectives from leading experts on issues related to emerging risks, growth and innovation in Asia-Pacific.
Wolfram is also an active Partner within Oliver Wyman’s Finance & Risk consulting Practice, working with CROs and CFOs of many of the largest Financial Institutions across Asia Pacific. He previously was the head of the Oliver Wyman Singapore office and led the firm’s Greater China business over 5 years.
Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, he spent several years with Dresdner Bank in Retail Banking, SME credit and Asset Management roles.
Wolfram is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and holds graduate degrees in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting from the Beisheim Graduate School of Management (WHU Koblenz) and the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Lyon.
