Marsh & McLennan Companies' Guidelines for Corporate Governance summarize certain policies and practices that assist the
Board of Directors in fulfilling its fiduciary obligations to the company's shareholders. These
guidelines are intended to enhance the Board's effectiveness in overseeing the work of Marsh & McLennan Companies
management, which is responsible for conducting the company's business.
Selected Marsh & McLennan Companies Senior Executives are expected to hold Marsh & McLennan Companies equity at certain levels.
