Financial Leadership Development Program

 Printer version

MMC is pleased to offer opportunities for talented MBA graduates to join the firm's Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP). The FLDP is an exciting and challenging two-year development program designed to nurture future leaders of MMC, the parent company of world leading brands Marsh, Mercer, Guy Carpenter, Oliver Wyman and Kroll.

Description

The program is comprised of four, six-month rotations at the company's New York City locations. Two of the rotations will be within MMC Corporate and two will be within selected Operating Companies.

Rotations at MMC Corporate may include: Treasury, Internal Audit, Corporate Development, and Financial Planning and Analysis. Within these functional areas, the specific assignments may include exposure to some or all of the following: the financial closing process; business plans and forecast updates; business partner support; budget vs. actual analysis/trending; capital budgeting; Sarbanes-Oxley controls and compliance; and informing the firm's corporate development strategy.

Operating Company rotations will be under the supervision of the Operating Company CFOs. At the end of the rotational program, the candidate will migrate into a permanent assignment, based on the firm's current needs and the candidate's interests.

Who We Look For

We are seeking individuals committed to a career in Corporate Finance. The Program is designed to cultivate professionals within the global finance organization who are thought-leaders and who will promote effective change and innovation within the firm's financial framework.

Applicants are required to have achieved a Master’s Degree from a Graduate Business School, with a minimum GPA of 3.5; be willing to work in New York City; and demonstrate superior communication skills. Relevant internships and/or prior work experience relative to financial strategy and analysis are required. Demonstrated achievement in non-academic pursuits such as clubs and organizations, special projects, military service, and prior work experience will complement the applicant’s candidacy.
