Our I&D Leaders 
Alex Amonett
Global Leader responsible for the design, implementation and execution of the Global Inclusion and Diversity strategy for over 40,000 colleagues globally. Responsible for being an executive consultant and business partner, Alex aligns I&D to the business strategy and embeds culture, talent and marketplace strategies to leverage I&D globally and strengthen Marsh’s brand as an I&D leader. Alex is a recognized and award wining Global Inclusion & Diversity Leader with over 10 years of experience in I&D and 17 years of experience in global program and project management, learning and development, employee experience and client services. He is an established and influential public speaker, served on the Board of Directors for PRIDE Houston, Big Brothers and Big Sisters and the RIMS National Diversity Advisory Council. Alex brings experience from Mercer, Guy Carpenter, and Aon in both client and talent management roles. He currently resides in Seattle, WA with his partner.
Elanee Gashaw

Elanee is the Diversity Recruiting and Sourcing Leader for Marsh McLennan Companies' Global Talent Acquisition division. She is responsible for managing relationships with external partners, identifiying new partners, which will complement our diversity initiatives, and market the plethora of benefits that come along with our partnership agreements. Equally important is the relationships of our internal Business Resource Groups. Joining forces with each operating company's Diversity & Inclusion Leads, we intend on reinvigorating and empowering each group to promote their brand and mission. The firm's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion goals is a multi-pronged approach, requiring active support from Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Marketing, and the Social Impact divisions. Though a pioneer in this role for the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, Elanee intends on setting the bar high in each area of support and involvement. Diversity has maintained a permanent position in Elanee's priority to support business hiring needs. It comes as no surprise that she would transition her recruiting role into the Diversity focused role she is in today. She is solutions oriented and motivated to find optimal solutions for all sides. Prior to joining MMC in 2018 as Sr Talent Acquisition Consultant, Elanee gained nearly 15 years of robust business, recruiting, and diversity sourcing experience from Fortune 500 firms. From recruiting engineers, lawyers, finance professionals, and commercial and consumer insurance business support, it is clear that without an understanding of the business, sourcing the best talent would be difficult. Elanee takes pride and interest in learning the complexity of the businesses she supports. It is through this passion that she has been able to succeed in finding talent. Elanee has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University, College Station, with specialty focus on Mathematics and Science.

Roianne Nedd is a Diversity and Inclusion expert, author, speaker and life coach based in London. She is passionate and dedicated to improving workplaces for all employees by helping organizations to embrace the principles of diversity and inclusion. As Global Head of Inclusion and Diversity at Oliver Wyman she provides expert oversight on all inclusion and diversity topics across all offices in 60 cities worldwide. Specializing in cross-cultural diversity, inclusive leadership, intersectionality and financial inclusion as well as being the firm’s strategic lead for Racial, Ethnic and Cultural Diversity. Over the years she has built an impressive range of skills and experience from her career in a busy County Court in Central London, to working as an objective advisor to boards and individual leaders in a range of industries including financial and professional services, retail banking, central and local government, engineering and tech. Her key strengths are the ability to influence at every level and also her pragmatic approach to intuiting organizational culture and developing appropriate and practical solutions to match those cultures.

Meredith Swain

As Guy Carpenter’s Interim Talent & Learning COE Leader, Meredith is responsible for designing, implementing and executing a global talent management, learning and diversity and inclusion strategy for the firm that is aligned to it’s business strategy. The programs, processes and tools, developed by the COE, aim to enable colleagues to achieve their full potential through activating their strengths and accelerating their growth in an inclusive environment that embraces diversity. With over 12 years of experience across multiple facets of HR and consulting, Meredith brings a unique perspective to Guy Carpenter’s people strategy. Meredith graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. in History and Art History and is a SHRM Certified HR Professional.
Jill Zimmerman
As a Human Resource Executive, Jill is responsible for leading and developing both the TALENT, AND the DIVERSITY and INCLUSION strategies and programs to support Mercer’s 25,000 global employees. The solutions she leads, help everyone in the organization, from the c-suite, to the consultants, to the front-line operations teams, to deliver on Mercer’s business strategy, while providing colleague development, engagement, career progression, and inclusion. "Building a diverse workforce and inclusive culture ensures we optimize our talent, create a sense of belonging for all, and outperform the competition."
