Jason Pessel is a Principal with Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting, Inc. He is located in the New York office where he provides property/casualty consulting services to a variety of clients. Jason’s primary responsibilities include loss reserve analyses and loss projections for mergers and acquisitions, insurance companies, self-insured risks, and public entities. He has experience in many lines of insurance including workers compensation, general liability, automobile liability, product liability, professional liability, and title.
Jason has provided actuarial consulting services for more than 17 years. Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Jason provided actuarial consulting services at Towers Perrin with a focus on pension plans. While working in the Global Energy unit of Zurich Insurance Group, Jason focused on commercial property coverages and large account pricing.
Jason is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
