Michael is a Principal in Mercer’s Career business based in Sydney. Having previously worked in Mercer’s offices in Dubai, New York City and Chicago, He is a tenured human resources consultant with experience in delivering projects across the world, with hands on experience in the North America, Middle East-North Africa and Asia-Pacific regions as well as Europe on a fly-in fly-out basis.
Michael advises organisations on executive, non-executive director, wider workforce and salesforce remuneration and career matters, with a focus on linking remuneration to business strategy and performance. Throughout his career, he has worked with clients to develop human capital systems that help attract, retain and motivate employees in a way that is consistent with their organisation’s mission, vision, values and strategy. Further, He manages a team of consultants in Mercer's Sydney office and mentor consultants across Australia.
His specialisations include the design, analysis and implementation of performance and reward systems, career levelling structures, annual and long-term incentive schemes as well as remuneration management policies, with a focus on utilising Mercer’s IPE job evaluation methodology.
