Michel Jacob has over 30 years of professional experience of which 28 of top-management consulting in top-of-the-league firms.
He started his career at Saint Gobain, one of the world leading performance materials company, in Germany. He then moved to A.T. Kearney Paris and participated – from consultant to Vice-President – in the tremendous development of the French operations of this firm from 1991 to 2001.
Michel Jacob joined Roland Berger in 2001 as Senior Partner in the Paris office, where he led the Industrial Products & Materials and the Global Operations Strategy Competence Centers.
He became Managing Partner of Roland Berger Paris in 2012 and was appointed in 2013 member of the Global Executive Committee in charge of the South West Region, covering France, Belgium, Canada, Italy, Spain and Morocco, and gathering over 500 employees.
He joined Oliver Wyman Paris as a Partner in 2017. He integrated the Consumer, Industry and Services and Operations practices to contribute to the ambitious growth plan of Oliver Wyman in France and more globally in EMEA.
His industry expertise is mainly about process industries – chemicals, paper, building materials, metals – in which he deals with all CEO agenda topics (business strategy, organization, performance improvement…).
His main functional expertise covers operational performance improvement – procurement and strategic sourcing, manufacturing, extended supply chain management, organization efficiency, G&A reengineering, restructuring/turnarounds and large scale enterprise transformation projects which he conducted across many sectors for global corporates as well as medium sized LBO companies.
He holds a Master of Science from Ecole Centrale de Paris (ECP).
