Prashanth Gangu is a partner at Oliver Wyman and a member of the firm’s Insurance and Digital practices.
He advises P&C and Life insurers on a range of topics including, business strategy, new venture setup, organizational effectiveness, technology modernization and operational transformation across the entire insurance value chain. He is active in the insurance M&A space, advising investors on transactions covering carriers, brokers, MGAs, TPAs, networks, services and software providers.
Prashanth co-leads the firm’s insurtech platform, has been a keynote speaker at InsureTech Connect, the world’s largest gathering of insurance leaders and innovators, and is involved with the World Economic Forum.
Prashanth has published the article “We Need to Approach AI Risks Like We Do Natural Disasters” in HBR and has co-authored various Oliver Wyman reports, including , “P/C: It’s Not Personal Anymore”, “Clear sailing for Commercial P&C distribution”, “Claims Transformation: It’s a people business” and “Bringing value-based care to workers compensation”.
Prashanth received a post-graduate Engineer degree from Caltech, a Master’s in Aeronautics from Caltech, and a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Bombay. Prior to Oliver Wyman, Prashanth worked at the Mitchell Madison Group.
