Based in Seattle, Leslie leads Marsh & McLennan’s Insights and solutions agendas for digital, transformative technologies and cyber resilience. In his role, Leslie explores longer-term trends, hidden opportunities and unforeseen implications of game-changing technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things on corporations and society.
Over the last 15 years, Leslie has advised clients in High Tech, Financial Services, Energy and Retail industries at the intersection of strategy, technology, and risk. He has experience in a range of topics including product strategy, technology modernization, cyber risk, technology & operations risk and cloud computing. Leslie connects the dots on opportunities and challenges from transformative technologies and identifies practical steps for his clients to stay relevant and competitive.
As the head of Digital Insights and Solutions – Leslie advises clients on a range of strategic topics, including Digital Strategy, Digital Transformation, Digital Governance, and Cyber Resilience.
Leslie is also responsible for driving strategic research efforts on cyber resilience, artificial intelligence, blockchain and the internet of things (IoT). In this role, he explores the intersection of technology trends, seismic shifts across industries, and imperatives for business leaders, government and risk leaders.
Leslie is a frequent speaker on the topic of transformative technologies and has published many thought-provoking insights on digital literacy, cyber resilience, and implications of digital transformation for boards and corporate functions. He has contributed to insights for the Association for Financial Professionals, Harvard Business Review, National Association for Corporate Directors and the World Energy Council.
Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan Insights, Leslie led several business and technology strategy engagements with Oliver Wyman and Infosys Consulting. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
