Sam heads up Marsh’s UK SE+M Group which leads the strategy for these rapidly evolving sectors and their related activities. This includes delivering advanced R&D and risk management and insurance solutions to enable new mobility developments and their corresponding business models. He has over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry, of which over 11 years has been fully focussed on supporting technology and IP-rich companies at various stages of their capital journeys. He has also led various research public and private projects into emerging risks including AV, the Sharing Economy, Cyber and technology risk, supply chains, M&A and IPO/deSPACs and is a known global thought leader for autonomy and intangible risks.
In addition to this role, Sam is also the UK Growth Leader for the Technology Group and heads up the Marsh global telecoms working group.
